After receiving a tech course from Bill Wing at the Atlanta Extravaganza, I was more excited to get home and try this new marker out. Seeing how the bolt assembly has dramatically changed from the original Bolt and LPR design that the Dye Matrix uses, this is the best Spool Valve system I have seen today.

Using a new internal plunger, the dwell can not be set to 6ms from DM’s usual 19-23ms. This means less air being use to increase shot capacity of the marker.

Maintenance on the marker is very easy and manual includes a service guide to let users know when they should start maintenance on their guns by how many paintballs they have shot or by how many cases. This is will help new users figure out when is the appropriate time to re-lube their markers instead of waiting for the marker to fail.

Coming back from Atlanta, the weekend getting back was the local Tournament was being help. Finding out last minute that I would be playing I had a good excuse to see what this marker could do. Also keeping in mind that this was just the first run brand new marker and never really been tested outside of the Dye Community I was slightly worried.

Shooting the marker was simply amazing as the recoil was very minimal as it did not have any barrel rise but more to a point of a horizontal kick to it keeping shots more accurate without having to constantly adjust firing positions due to recoil. The sound emitting the marker was more of a “pop” noise, there is a sound signature but it’s more sharp but less audible then a general poppet valve but as soft as any other spool valve marker.

I would definitely recommend this marker to any user wanting a high end marker without having to worry about heavy high maintenance.
