Cons: Difficult Lense Removal

Best Uses: Speedball, Capture The Flag, Outdoor, Indoor, Tournaments

Describe Yourself: Tournament Player

I have personally used the JT Pro Flex mask for 5 years, which is half the time I’ve been playing paintball personally. Before that I have used the JT Spectra Mask that was basically the same mask just without the flexible ear and mouth piece.

The JT Pro Flex mask creates a comfortable seal around the eyes with a wide peripheral view with it’s 260 degree lense system. The flexible pieces on the mask makes it light and also makes washing the mask easier.

One thing I found really interesting with the 5 years of using this mask is that the style of the mask has virtually never changed. All the newer style masks, Flex 8 and Revolution uses the same Spectra lense frame system since the Spectra introduce it 10 years ago. Other companies constantly change the lense style or remake the mask completely each year while JT keeps the original design they have used from the beginning.

The things I really have trouble with the mask is that the first few times you have to change the lense. This can be very stiff and hurts the fingers but after the 3rd or 4th time it eventually ease up for an under minute lense change. Another con about the product is some of the stock parts i.e. straps and soft ears can wear out quickly but many aftermarket companies sell fashionable pieces that add style to all the protective pieces you need to replace.

I still have the mask for 5 years and plan to keep it as long as the material can last.
